Directed by Abdulaziz Al-Shalahi, The Tambour Of Retribution (حد الطار ) launched in January 2021 to critical acclaim. The film bagged the Special Jury Prize at the 42nd Cairo International Film Festival, as well as the Best Acting Performance Award for Faisal Al Dokhei’s lead role in the film.

As the exclusive publicity partner for the launch campaign, we were super proud to tell the story of this award-winning, entirely Saudi, production. Our goal was to maximize media coverage surrounding the launch - and for the news to reach as many eyeballs as possible.

Having hosted a private media screening, press junket and premiere in Riyadh, we made sure the region’s most important media outlets and entertainment news channels were all in attendance. The results speak for themselves, with blanket coverage across print, social media and regional TV.

The launch became one of the Middle East film industry’s most talked about events of early 2021, with exclusive interviews and featurettes airing on MBC4’s Trending, The Insider on Dubai TV, and SBC’s Morning Show. Not to mention a cover shoot and six-page spread in the region’s leading women’s lifestyle Magazine Sayidaty for lead actress Adwa Fahad.
