Champions

Starring Fatima Al Banawi and Yassir Al Sagaf in his first leading role in a feature film, Champions is a Saudi remake of the hit indie Spanish film Campeones. Produced by Al Maha Films and Lola Arabia, the production companies behind Born A King, the film was due for a theatrical release across the Middle East in March 2022.

Renowned production studio Telfaz11 was appointed to manage all marketing for the film, and partnered up with JunkSet to manage all publicity and comms, support with content production, and manage content distribution on social media.

During the 3 week campaign, JunkSet secured over 35 pieces of coverage around the launch of the film with leading news publications across the region including Al Arabiya, Arab News, Lovin Saudi, as well as Sabah Al Khair Ya Arab on MBC.

JunkSet also produced four promotional videos starring the cast of the film to promote the launch across key social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.

The videos generated over 18M impressions and 500K engagements within 2 weeks of going live while the movie was in theatres.
